Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - August 2008 Review
It's 2008 and the PSP is 3 years old. As a device, it is very functional, has a beautiful screen, intergrated wifi, and responsive buttons. The systems they are releasing right now are slightly modified from the original, but the differences are pretty nominal. The bundles that are available for $199 are a great value, as you get a memory stick, and your choice between a few games.

As with any system, that's what the PSP experience boils down to, the games themselves. I personally feel that the PSP has a pretty good library of games available, and you can purchase many of the older games used for $10 - $20. This creates a vast library of affordable games that the average person will find enjoyment playing. This being said however, it doesn't seem that there are too many games being released for the system, although there are a few ones coming worth note.

However, there are a lot of games on the system that are simply inferior ports of Playstation 2 games, and although the PSP is comporable in power, the games simply are not as good or have the same polish as the console versions, but that is a forced criticism, as we are comparing a portable system to a home console.

If you don't need the portability, then go for a PS2 or a newer system, as your gaming experience will be richer. If you are looking for a fun and portable diversion that mimics PS2 games to varying degrees of success, than I would suggest the PSP, but there are very few games available for it that you cannot find elsewhere.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Red is in, and A.D.D. is out.
What can I say? I have the attention span of a gnat. This product helps me keep that under control during long flights, or road trips. The Red case is very nice and the slim version is also compact and fits nicely into my messenger bag.

I worry about dropping it so I suggest you buy a hard case for it. For the price you get a great game and a funny movie, but I DO think they could have added a memory card in the set.

All in all, you still save money by buying this set and God of War: C.O.O. is probably one of the best games out on the system atm.

The net surfing and the additional options are astonishing and I find myself surfing the web when I get board in the airport playing games and such.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - PSP created review
The psp is simply an amazing entertainment system. it can play amazing games, watch movies, serve as your several size mp3 player (as in gb not physical size and shape) and i forgot to mention it can write reviews of a psp on a psp! literally! i only have one thing left to say if u dont already have one BUY IT TODAY!
i do not sponsor, endorse, or are related to anyone at sony in anyway shape or form. except..............

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - VERY BAD SERVICE FROM AMAZON..DONT BUY FROM HERE
I ordered for my PSP with a SanDisk memory card. The order estimated time was 4th August. On the day i could see the status to be delivered but i was not delivered by anything.
I had to dig out as to how to contact amazon and then they also just narrated the same stuff written on the web site and also said to wait for few more days before any action that can be taken from there side.

This is the second time happening with the amazon. They just want to keep there records up for the shipment. User satisfaction is not at all important....... Amazon is going bad in there delivery stuff.

I would say try buying the same stuff from CIRCUITCITY or BESTBUY or BUY.COM. Prices are same everywhere and they have good accessories collection for the same.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Love It!
I bought the system, and it's an amazing portable device. The games I've played are fantastic. The extra connectivity features it is capable of are also a fun thing to play with.
