Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - For any Pokemon lover...
Any pokemon lover will love this game. This is my son's fav and he has emerald, saffire and red rescue. Entertains him and keeps him challenged!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - true masterpiece
I don't think anyone can deny that this is probably the best Pokemon game released so far. The fact that so many people have reviewed it is proof of its well-deserved popularity.

I like the fact that you can be a boy or girl trainer, and keeping track of stats is very important and helps the game look and feel better than the other Pokemon games.

I also love the fact that you can be friends with another Pokemon so you can have two people on your side during battle. This really helps the gameplay stand far and above other Pokemon games.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Pokemon must have.
When I was about seven or maybe six years old, I was really into pokemon, all these years later and Pokemon Ruby has once again got me addicted to the 'Gotta Catch 'em all' slogan.

This game starts out with you (Boy/or Girl) going to Littleroot in a moving Van. All new pokemon, all new gym leaders, and all new plotline. Though it does share a similarity to the previous games, its still fun like you wouldn't believe.

PROS:

~30+ hours of gameplay and 50+ hours if you do intend to 'Catch'em all'
~All new pokemon
~Great graphics.
~New breeding, new two on two battles...ect....

CONS:
~Does get tedious after you beat the game, unless you head for BATTLE TOWER...
~Does not connect to older versions

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - AWESOME GAME!!!!
Well to start off you get introduced at the beginning of the story where he gives you a pokemon, which you get to choose who you want to start the game with, if you want to have a real challenge on some of the gym leaders especially winoa, the bird pokemon master you should choose treeko, which eventually evolves into grovile and the several levels later it evolves into sceptile, now if you want to beat the elite four with ease and pretty well all trainers and gym leaders, pick treeko and or mudkip, and the cool part is you get to face the infamous team magma, who their leader, archie, when you get to the cave of origin, once you beat all gym leaders (including sootopolis and mossdeep) archie awakens groudon which causes the worst drought and you go to the cave of origin, use your master ball and it will flawlessly catch the legendary GROUDON, which is pictured on the front of the box and he starts out at lvl 45. but then when you beat the elite four in evergrande city you can acsses sky pillar which is one heck of a maze, and when you get to the top, you face THE ULTIMATE RYQUAZA Dun dun tshoe

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Golden game
It was AWSOME!!! My cousin has a copy. I had never played a pokemon game before. It was the best! As soon I got home I went to buy a copy but I didn't have enough money! I begged my sister to loan me some. She said okay, but when I got to the store she had changed her mind! So my mom gave me the money

This summer we gave a presentation on simplifying the software estimation process for modern distributed systems. In it, we tried to boil down 10  years of thinking and experience on the subject; our goal was to make the process much more repeatable than it has historically been and as simple as is appropriate. On this [...]

With the accidental discovery of "black silicon," Harvard physicists may have very well changed the digital photography, solar power and night vision industries forever. What is black silicon, you say? Well, it's just as it sounds. Black silicon. It's what this revolutionary new material does that's important, starting with light sensitivity. Early indications show black silicon is 100 to 500 times more sensitive to light than a traditional silicon wafer.

To create the special silicon, Harvard physicist Eric Mazur shined a super powerful laser onto a silicon wafer. The laser's output briefly matches all the energy produced by the sun falling onto the Earth's entire surface at a given moment in time. To spice the experiment up, he also had researchers apply sulfur hexafluoride, which the semiconductor industry uses to make etchings in silicon for circuitry. Seriously, he did this just for kicks and to secure more funding for an old project.

“I got tired of metals and was worrying that my Army funding would dry up,” he said. “I wrote the new direction into a research proposal without thinking much about it — I just wrote it in; I don’t know why," he said.

The new experiment made the silicon black to the naked eye. Under an electron microscope, however, the dark sheen was revealed to be thousands, if not millions, of tiny spikes. As we said above, those spikes had an amazing effect on the light sensitivity of the wafer. Mazur said the material also absorbs about twice as much visible light as traditional silicon, and can detect infrared light that is invisible to today's silicon detectors.

And there's no change to the manufacturing process, Mazur said, so existing semiconductor facilities can create black silicon without much additional effort or, more importantly, money. [New York Times]

Reports claim the seven surviving actors who played The Doctor will reunite for this year's BBC 'Children in Need' telethon. That means David Tennant and Peter Davision would join Tom Baker, Colin Baker, Sylvestor McCoy, Paul Mcgann and Christopher Eccleston for a reunion fans thought was impossible.
